Having qualified as a solicitor in 2014, Hanan brings extensive experience in Family Law, Immigration, Judicial Reviews and general litigation matters. At Hanan Solicitors, we believe that effective legal representation begins with understanding our clients, their circumstances and what matters most to them.
Hanan Solicitors was established in 2024 by Hanan Ur Rahman, LLB, LLM, Principal Solicitor, with extensive experience in Family Law, Immigration, Judicial Reviews and general litigation matters.
Hanan Ur Rahman, LLB, LLM, successfully completed his LL.B Law Degree before going on to complete an LL.M Master's Degree in Commercial Law from University College Dublin, where he obtained a Distinction. He qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and is on the Roll of Solicitors in both Ireland and England and Wales.
Before establishing Hanan Solicitors, Hanan worked as a consultant solicitor for 10 years. Throughout his career, he has represented clients in contested matters ranging from the District Courts through to the Supreme Court of Ireland.

Our Story

From qualifying as a solicitor in 2014 to establishing Hanan Solicitors in 2024, Hanan Ur Rahman, LLB, LLM's career has been shaped by a commitment to representing clients and protecting their interests.

Roots in Ireland
Hanan Ur Rahman, LLB, LLM, was born in Cork in the early 1980s. His grandfather immigrated to Ireland in the 1960s, together with Hanan's mother, who was only eight years old at the time.

A Passion for Rugby
Outside of law, Hanan has a longstanding passion for Rugby. Back in 1998, as a 16-year-old, Hanan started playing Rugby and the following year he was representing Ireland U18s and Leinster U18s whilst also captaining his club side Tullamore. Hanan added further representative honours with Connaught Schoolboys, UCD and Irish Exiles U21s.
This representative experience helped Hanan develop qualities such as leadership, discipline, teamwork and resilience, qualities which he has transferred into his legal practice.
